wisdom tooth

We keep wondering why wisdom tooth is called wisdom tooth? Extooth has got answers to all the questions you have been wondering regarding your wisdom tooth. What to do when wisdom tooth pain?

A wisdom tooth is called so due to the age of its eruption.

A wisdom tooth or third molar shoots at 17-25 years of age.

This is the age at which men and women mature adults and probably wiser. The age when you get wisdom.

If adults have been called up for an unknown pain at the back of your teeth, there are high chances that your wisdom tooth is erupting.

WHY DOES WISDOM TOOTH PAIN?

Jaws develop in a downward and forward direction. The growth of the jaw and movement occurs in the forward direction, so anything that interferes with such a moment will cause a decreased space.

Nature tries to eliminate the disused organs.

Due to varying nutritional practices, the use of large, strong jaws has been practically abolished. Thus, over the centuries, the jaw decreased in size, leaving insufficient room for third molars.

Heredity is the most obvious cause. The hereditary transmission of short jaws and big teeth from progenitors to siblings.

By this age, all your teeth have erupted. Lack of space in the mouth prevents your wisdom tooth from erupting in the mouth. A wisdom tooth is positioned against another tooth, bone, or gums so that its further eruption is unlikely.
